Panels Announced for 2025 Ohio Brownfield Conference

GOPC, in partnership with the Ohio EPA, is excited to announce the panels for the 2025 Ohio Brownfields Conference are available on the OhioBrownfields.com website! The full schedule, including panel times and panelists, will be announced shortly.

The 2025 Ohio Brownfields Conference will offer four panels focused on the Ohio EPA's Voluntary Action Program, which are eligible for VAP CP Credits. Eight additional panels will be offered throughout the day.

Brownfields Update: Legislation Introduced, Early Bird Registration Ends in 10 Days

Over the past few months, GOPC has met with members of the Ohio House and Senate to discuss the importance of a continued investment in the brownfield grant program. Additionally, GOPC is working with legislators who last week introduced House Bill 93, with the goal of including this language in the budget.

The Brownfield Remediation Program and the Building Demolition and Site Revitalization programs were both launched in 2021 and combined have invested nearly $1 billion in the clean-up, revitalization, and redevelopment of hundreds of blighted properties throughout the state of Ohio.
