GOPC Staff Hitting The Road This Fall Sharing Insights from Our Work Statewide
Greater Ohio Policy Center (GOPC) staff will be traveling across Ohio this fall sharing insights and best practices from our work at a number of conferences. Below are just some of the events you will find us over the next several months. 2023 Ohio Economic Development Conference: September 12-14, 2023 at the Nationwide Hotel & Conference Center, Lewis Center (near Columbus) GOPC's Alison Goebel and Aaron Clapper will present at the conference. Alison will appear at the panels "Housing the Necessary Ingredient for Economic Success" and "Two Paths Forward for a Vibrant Ohio." Aaron will moderate "Early Successes and Lessons Learned from the Brownfield Remediation Fund." All three panels are on September 14, 2023.
Zanesville-Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce Workforce Summit:September 14, 2023 at the Zane State University Campus Center, 8-10am. GOPC's Erica Spaid Patras will join a discussion offering insight into trends affecting the workforce, how state government is reacting, and how “Legacy Cities” can become better prepared.
Ohio CDC Association 39th Annual Conference: October 3-5, 2023 at the Sheraton Columbus Hotel at Capitol Square. GOPC's Alison Goebel will join the panel "Promising Partnerships for Housing" onWednesday, October 4 from 9-10:15am.
