A Bittersweet Goodbye
Over the past 2.5 years—that should be considered longer because most of that was during the pandemic (Haha!)—I have served as Manager of Research for the Greater Ohio Policy Center (GOPC). I connected with amazing local leaders across our state, rediscovered my love for research and advocacy, and expanded my knowledge in neighborhood revitalization; community engagement; equity; CDFIs; affordable housing; policy; organizations; coalitions; collaboration; land banks; brownfields; active transportation; data collection; analysis; project management; video production (shout-out to OH3C!); and more. I could probably go on forever.
Now, I have to share a bittersweet goodbye. This week is my last at GOPC before starting a new, exciting journey as a Senior Analyst focused on housing, communities, and asset building for the Social & Economic Policy Division at Abt Associates.
I am so grateful for my time at GOPC, which allowed me to pursue work aligned with my passion for supporting and celebrating Ohio and its communities. Thank you to the neighborhoods and my clients that have allowed me to serve them, and thank you to GOPC for giving me the outlet to do so!
All of us at GOPC wish to thank Lindsey for all that she has done for the past few years and wish her nothing but the best as she begins this next exciting chapter in her professional life. We certainly hope that our paths will cross again in the future.
